Well for those who envied my JP pull, the game got even with me tonight. Threw 4 pulls, including half off, to try for Lilisette 35 and all 4 were 1/11 off banner (fuck you Zell, Bartz, Kuja, Balthier).

Then did a final 5th pull on Paine's banner. 1/11 off banner, Lilisette..........

Got Laguna's 35 from tickets.
EX stage was a joke, cleared with WoL (35 CP 0LB, 15 CP passive, 57/60), Lenna (35 CP 0LB, 15 CP passive) and Terra (15 CP MLB, 57/60) /w Terra friend and Ifrit. Got 46k score which is like 10k higher than the max score for the 500 gems.

67k on EX, did it with MLB Sephiroth/Terra/Sazh, Ifrit, friend Terra.

Used all my tickets and only got Zack 35 on second last (was after Laguna/Layle 35 ).

47k, 81 turns, on the EX with mlb Seph, Terra, Sazh. Ifrit summon and friend Terra. Fight was smooth as butter. I got the first one down to a sliver and dealt the killing blow when it was going to AoE me. 2nd robot was around 30% and with Terra's slow and Seph's Jenova it only got one turn before I killed it too.

My first try was with Cloud instead of Seph and I couldn't make it work. Cloud sucks at brave shaving.

I summoned right away. IIRC my turn order was A > B > Seph > Terra > Sazh > A > B. I swapped sazh for a friend Terra and summoned before they got a 2nd turn

So I just did Ace's LC on JP and I assumed it was same as ours on GL..... It's not.....

Instead of "bring Ace to every Hard Mode Boss fight", they have "don't lose xxx health" or "don't get broken" on final boss.... The fuck SE!? They made GL WAY harder, obviously to get people to spend gems/money on Ace's weapons.

I mean it was obvious they've been doing this for months *looks at Sazh 35*, but still sucks that this is the road we're going down still.

I feel like that was the plan last month and they're now changing course. Last two EX fights were much easier and didn't require banner pulls.

Thancred LC tonight for global. I can't say I'm excited about it. I never liked Thancred as a character and he's pretty weak in OO. Just one event closer to the next maint and data mine.

Replacing Ace? That's sort of good news, but I didn't want to waste gems pulling for Rem35 yet since Noctis banner is coming extremely soon.
Any general tips on the kefka ex? I tried a firion Vincent Terra, setup but the characters are not good enough at shaving brv off and can't seem to maintain vincent's debuff. I place the blame on vinent being 0lb on the 35. I'm guessing I should replace firion with Eiko too?
