Apparently to celebrate FFXII's anniversary there will be 3 EX+ weapons released this month. We know Basch and Vaan will be in the new event but the third is potentially another new one so either Balthier or Penelo.

After way too many attempts I cleared the 2x chimera with Selphie, Cait, and Prishe w/ex. Brothers and a Squall friend. Ive now cleared the new chapter except the bugged fight. Also go Kains LC done with a launch team.

The bugged fight in c2 a1 is fixed. The chapter can be completed now for that sweet 1k gem bonus

Used ~80 tickets and 25k gems on Deuce/Aerith/Ace banner. Only missed out on Ace's 35CP. Don't really want to use any more tickets from event on it, since it's just a chase at that point. Is it worth it to just use tokens to pick his 35, or just hold onto them for someone else in the future? I have Beatrix MLB and Vaan 15/35/70 for magic, if that makes a difference.

I would wait. Ace has a great EX but his kit is pretty bad, he's basically a future investment. Unless you're planning to use him on this EX stage I'd just save and eventually use the tokens when he gets reworked if you're still missing the 35.

Tossed 20 tickets at Deuce's banner for the hell of it, got Ace's EX, 2x 15 for him and Deuce's 35. Are either of them any good?

Did 1 pull, got Deuce 15, Ace 15 and his EX. Seems the game is happy to throw EX at me for characters I haven't bothered to level.

This ex is hard. God damn. The trash waves are deceptively easy so I was not ready for that boss. Celes, Beatrix, Selphie, friend layle lost for me. Gonna go to bed try again later with a different comp. My big fuck up was focusing one at a time, this feels like a fight that you need to kill them at the same time

I tried Celes, Beatrix, Deuce /w Setzer friend and got murdered towards the end due to AoE BRV+HP spam. I probably need to save Setzer for that phase because it's insane, without a healer spamming heals every turn you won't survive.

It is, if you kill one, the other gains immense DEF/SPD buffs, becomes immune to debuffs, and spams every turn the AOE HP DMG.

I got 150k with Rem EX, Beatrix EX, and Selphie. Bahamut summon, friend Setzer. Saved summon for around 70% (when someone was about to die) and saved Setzer for under 30%. His brv freeze made them manageable enough to eek a win.

Yes, he can redirect all HP attacks to himself and reduce BRV+ HP damage taken on top of self healing. He seems broken on paper, amazing tank.

Cleared Deuce ex with Bea, Ramza, Celes. Bahamut and friend Setzer. It was hard and Beatrix got 1 shot right before the win. I'm gonna try again tomorrow but I need a break.

Did two pulls on Deuce banner and got all of Deuce and Ace's weapons in 10k gems. I'm gonna need powerstones.

If you've been playing since launch almost every banner is full of dupes for you so those weapons are sold for power stones. If you ever decide to chase an EX you'll end up with tons of them.
