I'm going to be asleep so I'll catch up. If people haven't already I'll try and grab any info and add to the thread. I'm assuming though that West coast peeps will post.
This last section of Alexander looks like it'll deliver.
Only really play in Japanese so this was the part of lodestone that loaded for me.
NA Trailer.
Whatever sword that PLD is using in Alexander looks pretty sweet.
Trailer needed 100% more Yda though.
All the Alexander and Sophia gear looks really fucking good, from trailers it seems easily superior in looks compared to old one.

Like Final Coil, I think this last leg of Alexander is going to be way better than the rest of Alex. (at least I felt that way)
It looks like it did not disappoint. Savage version of that gigantic Alex and all of the rest of that madness will definitely be interesting.
Someone should have trolled everyone with those pictures of the Flame Liquid boss and said it was part of Alex.
Ark looks pretty cool but it'll be hard to top Phoenix.
The Cinematic where XIV became DBZ is what made Phoenix memorable for me, I didn't really care much for the fight :/ music wasn't exactly to my liking either.
I haven't played for the last 2 patches, is there any word on what Adventurer Squadrons are? I'm assuming it's similar to FFXI Fellows/Trusts?
I think they may head that way eventually but not sure yet
Squadrons are Grand Company Retainer ventures (but linked to a challenge log apparently) much like Airship content is essentially airship retainer ventures until further notice when you can physically use them as the tl;dr version. So it will never be anything like XI trusts/fellows and at best will be like your chocobo buddy some day.
If there new tomestones with 3.4 or is lore gonna carry till 4.0?
He also said we'd manually fly the airships...among plenty of other things yoshi has said It's best to just think of em as a glorified retainer system until we see what they truly have in mind. Chocobo buddy is the closest we'll get to trust/fellowship in XIV since this is a rotation based game so in comparison it'll never be on that level without being utterly broken and negating needing players in a dungeon haha.
