I just skipped wall. It helps for the first phase, but gets less and less useful as the fight goes on. Magic blink was far more useful.

The RNG is real. That is all.
At least this rng is less frustrating then ifrit
Think I hate this RNG more. Having to DPS til 80% to see if I have to reroll is shit.
This RNG is way worse than Ifrit, gtfo Rata.
I love the conditions I need for medals literally not even appearing in the fight. Wat.
zz, I've been at it for the past hour. With Ifrit, I felt like I could make progress... with this guy... fuck, I could have full HP, max hones and it still wouldn't matter because medal conditions never proc.
Like I said earlier, sit through all 6 weaknesses during phase 2 like my friend did. Yea you'll lose medals for actions and damage taken, but it will get done eventually.
ifrit was way less frustrating, and i did it with a physical team and all of 2 natural 5* synergy weapons lol
Finally done, fuck I hate this one.
Done, but couldn't get one final Dreamstage up in time and Selphie and Vincent died. Lost 4 medals after a perfect run where the first two elements were water and lightning.
Going to ditch using Bio altogether and just S/L if it comes up.
Terra: Merton and Blizzaja
Vincent: MM/DZ
Selphie: Curaja and whatever
Echo: Waterja and Chain Blizzaga
Krile: Quake and Firaja
I'm not having any problems with Phase 2, as It normally goes down right after using the 3rd element. So I really just need to have some luck and Selphie be hit 1-2 more times for a mastery.
Merton is the bees knees though.
Question about water phase with Gigas Armlets. If you cast water on the crystal, does the Water weakness still persist or is it overwritten by the + resistance from the crystal?
Had a perfect run and ruined it by not popping Rinoa's SSB-> Tyro and Edea died and that made me lose a 4th medal
Do you have enough swords, King of Dragons?
Spoiler: show
Spoiler: show
Literally ran out of hones and forgot about the physical counter, so Krile tried to Devo it and it didnt like that much. Was saved by her Quickcast and Echo having one final use of Chain Blizzaga. Even went through 4 crystal phases, including a Poison phase, just to see if the 4th phase would be water and it was.
So glad this is done.
Made a mistake and hit the crystal a 4th time with the wrong element, and had to eat the final meltdown. Seriously, Exdeath saved the run by giving him a 2nd heal + SSB. IM FREEEEEEE
I'm really hoping I get Stoneblade so I can do something with Ashe and have a casting sword.
I was finally able to beat this thing but it was never weak to water. Oh well.
beat him first without hitting weakness, then went back with changed up spells, abilities, and RMs
On 2nd run, I got both Water and Lightning, and was excited, finished without an issue, but still didn't get my weakness proc's since I read it incorrectly... you have to proc weakness on the DRAGON, not the crystal... doh.
on 4th or 5th run got both weakness' but healer instantly died...
on 7th or 8th run, I got both weakness', and Exdeath had enough magic Blink charges to absorb everything in the 3rd phase except an ill timed Acid Rain my non-synergy healer survived even though it looked like she had no HP in her bar.
Still lost 2 medals to damage in the end.
This battle was the right amount of challenge, and an interesting gimmick, but the wrong amount of RNG.
