I guess having the world's largest country in the entire galaxy isn't enough.
“I always asked the question, ‘Am I the most powerful person in the room?’ The answer needed to be yes. To this day I still ask that question. And the answer is still yes. In every room in the entire world, the answer IS yes. With the exception of one…or two. And that drives me. I intend to leave a legacy, the standard of which was set by God when he created the Earth and man after his own image. Anything less is not worth mentioning.”

Russian propaganda
I think perhaps what's the saddest part of this all is there are lots of Russians here who believe him, because they really don't know any better.
I should say, while I think there is a lot of overgeneralization taking place about Russia (they're in the same spot as us, for the most part - a country filled with citizens at the whim of their government who basically just fills their head with shit) I really, really wish Putin wasn't in charge.
People gravitate to him because he appears on TV a lot, talks a lot, talks frankly, and they eat it up. That's why it's so dangerous for Trump to win.
Under Putin living standards rose so thats gota count for something, although last i heard they went down recently.
Russia's economy went to shit ever since the Saudis started dumping crude on the market.
Also, Putin is crazy. His government has spent months now antagonizing Hillary, which will not endear him to her. I guess they are relying on her being too selfless to take a hardline approach on Russia for selfish reasons, because holy shit have the Ruskies ever earned her scorn.
I fuckin love Randy Newman so much. I knew he still had his irony and wit.
So this could be interesting...

What fun. Ukrainian hackers got into email accounts of senior Russian officials & are starting to post stuff online. Turnabout is fair play.
i'm a crazy newman fan, glad you liked it haha, his old stuff in the 70's and 80's was very much like that, sarcastic, witty and drowning in irony. could rant quite a bit about him haha.
I always thought he was just some shmuck (which, unfortunately, is how a lot of people see him) but he won me over with "What if the Kurds got in the way?"
I mean. God damn dude.
Welp now its Russia's turned to have their emails enter into the public dominion. Hopefully google auto translate will do us justice.

Also NBC:Today, a Ukrainian hacker group called “Cyber Hunta” released a cache of emails linked to the Kremlin’s “grey cardinal” — Vladislav Surkov. This political operative is well known in the West as the creator of Russia’s “sovereign democracy” and has been the point-man for Russia’s management, and sometimes direct control, of the so-called states of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, and the self-declared Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
The hacked inbox was for [email protected], which was handled by his secretaries or assistants, including a “Masha” (Mariya) and “Yevgenia” (last names unclear). The majority of the emails are briefings from Surkov’s assistants, such as Aleksandr Pavlov. Some of these briefings include:

Not sure how trusted this source is but i have been reading this past year of Putins thoughts that HIV will kill off the gays and leave the heterosexuals alone. Pretty much stopped all HIV research and closed down the needle exchange.Official Announces HIV Epidemic In Russia's Fourth-Largest City
That's what you get when your government is religiously motivated.

Russia has sealed Amnesty International's Moscow office. Too much criticism.
Well soon enough there won't be enough people alive to complain.
