I'm going to be cautious here and hope Kennedy is having a moment of clarity, with this being an attempt to space out franchise entries a bit more instead of regimenting them to 1-2/year.

She has not demonstrated her ability to maintain control over an entire franchise or brand like Feige has with Marvel. She is a good producer and creative talent in her own right, as shown by her filmography, but arching concepts over multiple platforms and methods of storytelling has not been her strong suit.

I think it may have been more Disney commanding terms early on after the Lucasfilm purchase, but in hindsight it looks like she got lucky with TFA and Rogue One, botched it pretty hard with Solo and TLJ (part Rian there too), and just cannot command the same artistry that Feige has concerning Marvel's overall concept. That could also be credit to how masterfully he has crafted Marvel.

Wasn’t she also the one who dumped all the EU then complained there’s no large pool of resources and storylines to pull from like marvel has? Like sure all of the EU doesn’t need to be canonized but there was tons of stuff to take from it that was good; I mean they even did do that but only in part and parcel
