Not even a huge Nats fan, but god that game pissed me off. Took 4.5 hours with the seventh inning stretching from 10:37 PM to 11:43 PM; one fucking inning took an hour and six minutes with Dusty Baker showing repeated signs of dementia. It was the longest 9 inning playoff game in history. All of that for a fucking loss because 1) Baker inexplicably pulled Scherzer for 1 ER in 6 innings with his pitch count still south of 100, 2) the third base coach had the worst wave home in history, and 3) because Nats gonna Nat.

4) Roberts is freaking insane with his bench/bullpen usage. Under no conventional wisdom would any manager put a closer in for a possible 9 out save, let alone your 7/8thth inning setup man in the 3rd. But credit to him, he has been doing this all year with Kershaw on the DL. Dodgers rotation is so fucked for the NLCS.

But point #2 was the biggest Nats error. Idiot was so far up the line he couldn't tell Harper to stop even if he had a megaphone.
