Something has to give with this team. They have been pretty miserable as of late. But the thing is, there are so many contracts expiring this off season that the roster is gonna look really different regardless. A couple forwards, 3 D if you include Smid, both goalies.

So it's like, do you shake up the roster this season and go for it? Or just ride out the season and do some big changes in the off season?

It had nothing to do with Pittsburgh, just Sep's hypocrisy. NHL doesnt do enough to enforce playersafety, but he has no problem with AHL tier players injuring established NHLers to demonstrate "toughness"

it pretty funny considering he had comments about scrub AHL players shouldn't even touch star players when it was his own team getting hurt a few years ago. Pretty sure it was Letang being a prick and someone hit him back really fucking hard for it.

Oh yeah, the guy is a good coach. It's a shame he's kinda turned into the scapegoat with the hand he's been dealt, but I think the problem is also that the players can't seem to get motivated from him like they used to.
