Does anyone give any of the #9's in the NHL (Bobby Ryan, Taylor Hall, Evander Kane to name a few) shit for wearing Howe's number? Nope...its a problem just because its Ho-Sang and they want to shit on the kid for anything they can.

People are comparing it to wearing Gretzky's number, but 99 is retired league-wide. I'm saying it's dumb to blast the kid for wearing a number that isn't retired by the team he's playing for. I'm pretty much agreeing with you.
