Yeah but the Leafs got it back on the ensuing powerplay haha. There have been 4 Instigator penalties this period, all against the Canucks. Ryan Miller was just ejected for saving Stetcher's life from Martin.

Edit: Andersen got booted for coming down to grab Miller too so both backups are in haha.

Unfortunate timing in my opinion. I think he was trying to hit shoulder to shoulder but Daniel shot the puck and rotated at the same time.

I fully expect he's gonna sit a couple games but I don't think he meant to hit him like that.

Also the spear from Burrows on Rielly was dangerous as fuck too.
