This is ffxi Drg all over again... except like... opposite.
"Drg dps sucks"
"You're not counting the Wyvern's dps"
"Wyvern keeps dying, hurting the Drg's dps"
"Buff the Wyvern/Drg"
Etc etc etc

SE and pet jobs
I don't get why happened in the last page. At all lol.
Also.. Bole?
Lets be honest most people play sch because they view sch as a dps with a healer queue. I saw a huge increase in this when statics started brickwalling on a3s. Full power fairy heals while in cleric is the problem.
I play SCH because I don't like managing MP.
Then buff WHM and AST.
It's not like there is some latent threat of Overpowered Healers that we must carefully avoid. For all content that matters, the vast majority of this game involves pass/fail mechanics which are unaffected by things like HPS.
Rather than buffing the jobs, I'd up the damage of the fights. A12S last phase was a good start except you can skip it...
i actually imagine this will all be balanced somehow when they roll out the 4.0 cross-class changes, which will possibly see tweaks to Clerics stance
Maybe by patch 4.05 at the earliest.
Patch 4.4 seems most likely.
I play FFXIV primiarily on Ps4 but I also use the PC version at times. If I preorder the PC version, do I still get access to the PS4 version or do I have to pay for both?

Is it likely that we'll see a grade VI tier of materia with the expansion? I've only been playing since 3.4 so not sure what to expect.
No reason for them not to, add exclusive materia to the game to boast that "you cannot get the best without buying our video game dlc"
Unlikely. The ilvl will have a huge jump again like 2.5 > HW did, but beyond that grade VI materia wouldn't add much of anything to the game unless they somehow make better itemization and grade vi is how you'll actually get 'enhancements' or 'potency' stats like back in 1.x.
I'm hoping not, because then I can hoard Savage Aim V and make a boatload of gil during release week. But then again if they're going to implement grade VI I'm 95% sure we would have plenty of advance warning.
I don't think we got any advance warning going into hw, just found out like last minute.
Idk why you would expect one either, HEY GUYS NEW MATERIA LOOK OUT!!!!
Hey guys Tier VI to counteract the decrease in secondary weighting because of ilv bloat.
