I havent been able to get into this game. Having to spam a button to ride or walk faster is annoying the shit out of me

After a year of installation and updates I started this game today. First, it sounded like my PS4 was trying to take off for flight during the first scene. I've never heard it get that loud. Took it apart and yeah it was pretty dusty. I guess that's what happens when it doesn't get turned on for over a year and it just sits in a cabinet. Played thru the first mission and hunted deer. I'm not sure if it's my eyes, the fact I normally game sitting 3-4 feet away from a 32" 2560x1440 monitor, or if it's the game but the first gun fight was ridiculously hard to me. I could barely see anything. Sound and graphics are very good. Movement seems, slow? Not game play, just moving the character. I'll keep at it because I love western stuff. I'm sure it will be just as good as the original.

I found in the first few minutes that rather than holding the trigger to aim it's faster to let go while adjusting your aim and hitting the trigger again so that it aim assists to the next guy. Makes the gunplay infinitely easier.

Ya this makes gunfights an absolute breeze

Yeahhhh I feel like I'm cheating but I cant play this game without that aim assist. Just straight running and gunning gets me killed every time.

that's why I caved and bought it. I really wanted to play it and with how much I loved the first it made sense to buy it when it went on sale for $40. If it does go PC I'll probably grab it for there as well.
