    Exactly.

    A few points on that:
-His supporting cast is objectively mediocre. I'm not calling them bad because we've seen Adams and Oladipo play much better in different circumstances

-They have the worst backup PG in the league (Semaj) and Donovan wasn't always keeping Dipo on the floor when Westbrook was off

Westbrook dragged a mediocre team to one playoff win. Harden is they key to a historically great offense that has a puncher's chance at winning the title.

FWIW, I love westbrook (most of the time) and don't think anyone is dumb for voting for him. He just wouldn't be my vote.

did they though? Adams put up career bests in most categories and Dipo looked about the same as he did in Orlando except he got a whole lot more open 3s. just don't think Russ was working with a whole lot, certainly less than any other MVP candidate.

Harden is obviously a very legitimate choice tho. and Bron is better than either bro, put up one of his best statistical years, and his team collapses when he's not around. it's not an easy year.

it's a pretty tough field to vote for. westbrook did something that i thought would never be achieved again in an era where it was much tougher. but harden pretty much brought his team to the next level.

that said fuck james harden cause i fucking hate him so i'd vote kawhi.

MVP race (in any sport) is all about the narrative. Kawhi and LeBron doing their thing, however spectacular it is, isn't as exciting as Westbrook's revenge tour or Harden's adventure in Moreyball.

That's why Rodgers or Brady won MVP over Matt Ryan last season.

LeBron is still the best player in the league no question, but I can't give him the MVP when they could only get 51 wins in the East

Kawhi I'm fine with since his supporting cast isn't special either

I'm comparing to how Adams looked in the playoffs last year and Dipo the second half last year. It's possible that neither is that good anyway but can you really argue that you'd be able to tell in OKCs current environment? I'd buy low on either guy

Don't know how Middleton didn't get the whistle on that 3 attempt, but that's game.

Larry Bird stepping down in Indiana. Feel like this 100% signals that PG13 is leaving.

    i've heard a couple things.

    a. bird doesn't want to trade pg but org wants to and he wants no part of it, so he's stepping down
    b. bird wants to trade pg, org doesn't want to, so he's stepping down

either way i really don't see how george is staying there.

Wizards aren't on too many nationally televised games, which I'm realizing is a travesty. John Wall talking shit to people is A+ entertainment.
