The only way I'm okay with that title is if it's a Tomb Raider x Shadows of Mordor crossover game.

But honestly, I'm apprehensive about the game. Eidos is a fantastic and I know they helped out with the last 2 Tomb Raiders, but I'd rather keep them cracking away at Deus Ex, and keep Crystal Dynamics on Tomb Raider. Why mess around with a good formula?

Square Enix today announced Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available in six months for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC/Steam. All platforms will launch simultaneously on September 14, 2018.

Square Enix, Eidos-Montréal, and Crystal Dynamics today revealed the full trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the latest entry in the critically acclaimed and award-winning Tomb Raider series. Created by a team of veteran Tomb Raider developers at Eidos-Montréal, in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, the game will be available on September 14, 2018 for the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 system and Windows PC/Steam.

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.

The star of the critically acclaimed 2013 Tomb Raider reboot and the award-winning Rise of the Tomb Raider, Camilla Luddington, makes her return as Lara Croft with yet another stunning performance in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Fans in the New York City area will be able to enjoy a Special Preview of Shadow of the Tomb Raider at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, April 27. This free event will start at 4 p.m. EST, and will take place inside of the BMCC Theater at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Join the creative team as they discuss the evolution of Lara Croft and share in the techniques, tools and inspiration behind the series. Panel attendees will be able to witness an exclusive extended gameplay demo for the upcoming Shadow of the Tomb Raider game.

The major deemphasis on combat is kinda jarring in comparison to the other reboot titles, but exploration and tombs/puzzles are so much better then the other 2.

And God Damn are the graphics fantastic.

The Forge DLC - November 13, 2018

Square Enix, Eidos-Montréal, and Crystal Dynamics are proud to announce the first of seven new DLC adventures for Shadow of the Tomb Raider called “The Forge.” Available as a free download to all Season Pass holders, and sold separately, “The Forge” will launch worldwide on November 13th for the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC/Steam.

In “The Forge”, Lara must brave the lava-flooded Forge of the fallen gods to uncover the secrets of Kuwaq Yaku. Throughout her journey, Lara will uncover details about a friend’s ancient legacy, and overcome a danger long thought to be lost in flame. “The Forge” delivers a brand-new challenge tomb, playable in both solo and co-op. Players who complete the challenge tomb will be rewarded with the Grenadier skill, Brocken outfit, and Umbrage 3-80 weapon.

A completely new adventure, “The Forge” is the first of seven monthly DLC adventures available through the Season Pass, providing players with an abundance of new content, challenge tombs, co-op experiences, weapons and outfits, Score Attack and Time Attack modes, and additional narrative side missions.

Lara Croft has mastered an unforgiving jungle, explored vast landscapes filled with tombs, and battled Trinity for the fate of Humanity, all set against the backdrop of the Maya apocalypse.
