1/2 on this. Damage was tight since I didn't have native Sheep Song. So had to give it up for Ashe's BSSB. Still won with only 2 medals lost on damage taken.

Forgot to screenshot my characters but I used:

    Braska: Valefor R4/Protectga
    Lenna: Curaja R5/Shellga/Pride of Tycoon
Mog: Multibreak R2/Halting Rumba R3/Heroic Harmony
    Rinoa: Ramuh R5/Chain Thundaja R1
    Quistis: Ruinga R4/Thundaja R4/MG8

    RW: Ashe BSSB

It was really close, but Ashe's BSSB was still the stronger choice even w/o Sheep Song.

    I had no Sheep Song

I didn't even need actual magic until the very end, where Ramuh finished it off.

Stupid simple. 600+ MND makes Stop so long.
Penelo ran Halting/Multi and Y'sh ran Stop/Stop (WAY overkill). I took no heals.
Kefka Meteor/Chain Thundaga and he had doublecast and his reduce offensive casting.
Maria Thundaja/ga and had Thunder XIV.
Rinoa with Bahamut/Ruinga and Wishing Star (Which hits stupid hard).
RWed Sheepsong. Everyone had base 500+ MAG.

    1/1

Was pretty easy though having this thread to give me the strat really helped. Had Inaugural Parade so subbed that for Sheepsong and just used Ashe BSB

I'll have to figure a physical team for this. Got plenty of Moderate Blind Resist accessories but my go-to team are heavily reliant on Holy BSB damage. Even with 550 Mind the Stop was too short.

Yshtola has like 660 MND and Quistis had like 600+ MAG.

I used Cerberus to make sure I had fast cast at all times. Between Penelo and Ysh Stop was never a problem. Ashe practically solo nuked.

People are going overboard with stops, imo.

Lost 3 medals because I didn't realize lowering his attack was a thing, but still mastered, as Omega never even acted (took about 6 turns).

How are people using single target nukes on Omega without bringing a form of Dispel? Part of the reason my damage was limited was because I had to use either AoE shit or SB shit only to get through to him. He puts it up every nuke and pretty much has it up all fight.

Honestly I forgot it the first time, but if you use an AoE (I brought summons and Ashe) his reflect doesn't matter.

    Rrrgh so close.

    Spoiler: show

    - Ramza can't land power breakdown through blind. Does blind reach 100% miss rate if the enemy's stats are high enough, or was I just unlucky? I don't have any major dark resistance accessories.
    - Three stops missed in a row toward the end, and that was it. Also ran out of stops on Aerith; I was less than conservative with stop uses lol. 3* orbs are plentiful; I might hone Aerith's stop to R5.

I think if I replace Curaja with Esuna I can make this work. Oh - obviously, Ashe BSB method.

Increase your MND as much as possible. Bring a dispel instead of reflect on Kuja.

That's my whole point though, I'm looking through setups and no one has Dispel just stop and nukes. Yet, I still see Thundaja and chain Thundaja in the setups as well.

Dont forget stop can also overwrite itself. Between Mehnelo with stop dance and Yshtola with the spell, Omega only took 1 action.

Ashe BSB for the mastery. Just didn't feel like going back in for a physical set-up with spellblades/ninja magic, because ive still got the DU to work on and dark daily.

I know BSB strats make fights like this mostly trivial, but I kinda wish an event boss like this caused a little more headaches.

Land stop before Omega casts reflect.

I didn't realize Dispel was required the first time I blazed in. After I did, I threw it on Penelo and just had her alternate between Rumba and that when needed.

Quistis had only one job, which was to build up her SBs to keep Quick going. I think she only cast Thundaja once. Rikku was there for the breakdown and also for Northern Cross in case Ysh missed and Penelo wasn't ready.

Ashe literally did almost all the work. Each round she did 39999 damage, and that's not counting the 10-40k on entry.

It went so quick, the only one who even built up a bar was Quisty.

Brought Dispel this time, but it was unnecessary. Omega's only action was his first Flash lol. Adding Esuna to Aerith allowed Ramza's breakdowns to land which basically ensured victory. That and R5 Stop on Aerith. I made two R3 and one R5 Stop. Overkill? Definitely, but the added layer of security was nice and the mats + growth eggs were more than worth it when I won.

Full medals, yay. Didn't think I could do it!

Ashe BSSB took this fight from 'annoying' to 'steamrolled' even without sheepsong - thanks to folks who put her up there.
