FFRK - Time's Arrow (FFXIII-2) Event & Strategies

1/1 on CM, 1/2 on Ult ++, pretty much had no haste entire fight since he kept using Grasp right as I used SheepSong or RW. Fuck bosses that aoe dispel.

Josef made a huge difference. Boss didn't really stand a chance (except I let Wall slip off and lost Ysh towards the end).

1/1 on the U++, stupidly good on luck. Only used Pulverise once... when he was at 1% HP. >.> lol

U++ smooth slow fight with no real synergy at all. Was expecting a bit higher numbers with Celes BSB Ice with the Spellblade lvl99 RM (was hitting for 3.5k x 4). No real danger. RW was just something to give extra Haste when it removed (Mighty Guard).

Maybe I just got super unlucky w/ RNG but I got floored w/ my A-team. Didn't even get it to half.

SG, Protect/Shell, Magic/Power breakdowns, Vaan BSB and cleansing strike and I just ate way too much damage.

Kept getting countered on nearly every attack I did, lol

Try bringing a Knight with Draw Fire. All its physical attacks are single target so he/she'll get them all including counters.

Forgot to grab a party shot for U+ CM, but ill explain what I did.

U:

Nothing crazy. Basically used Hope just for a little additional damage and to reapply Haste. RW was Shout.

U+ CM:

Same set-up, but swapped Snow in for Hope.

Snow: Full Charge, Lifesiphon.

Approached it like Bahamut SIN but without the dogs. Chipped away at it with lesser attacks until the orb spawned and then unloaded with SB's and Full Charge. In-between orbs Snow would use his stun SB just to buy a little extra time to reapply buffs and mitigation. I lost 1 medal for damage taken. RW was Shout.

Also, Earth resist accessories did help a lot here. Definately use them. Quake was hitting me for like 2-300.

U++:

Didn't do CM set-up for this, but probably could have.

Had I used Yshtola for SS and then RW'ed a Medica, I would have been in a much different situation. RW was Wall. Vanille's Curaga + Ether helped keep Hope's damage up. Greg soaked up a fair amount and his BSB only needed the initial Lifesiphon charge to stay active.

I'm getting owned by dispel spam, personally. Run can be going smoothly, then just uses it 2-3 times, often with Ultimate Roar in between.

If you have Tyro BSB, there's a strat on reddit involving using Tyro backline drawfire, no retaliate for BSB spam to bypass Pulverize

Obviously not optimal but I needed haste somehow and cleansing strike helped for mitigation. Should have all-in for the magic dps but meh got the job done.

1/1 - stacked auron and wol's atk down debuffs, sent grim, shellga (ran no protectga). Not sure if it'd have been better with protectga instead. He still did lots of damage no matter what. Crushing grasp is a 100% (!) chance of curing standard status effects now that I check, but has a lock 3 turns, so stacking debuffs and sent is a little less of a pain in the butt than keeping buffs up.

That's exactly what I did, he got to 3 sb bars really fast, I only got hit once by aoe and his physical attacks were less than 200. Definitely recommend this

was struggling with rng, decided to switch to cid raines with rinoa bsb RW to burn him down fast.

won first try, but he never used aoe dispel. whatever.

1/1 U++. Pecil and Vaan are amazing together. Pecil back row, bow, draw fire, and just fired off BSBs like nuts. 25k or so. Capped single hit heals. Vaan BSBed and just kept crushing armor.
