    Commentary

Nothing special here, just a boss which resists almost all elements and attacks almost exclusively through magic of the primary trinity of elements. Equip Gigas Armlets on your squishiest characters if you have them and prepare your heaviest magical mitigation. Probably easier to beat him with a primarily physical team since he resists all elements except Dark and Bio, but at least Darkness casters will still do full damage.

    Commentary
    • The Crystal Guardians spawn in order (Land Turtle, Salamander, Kraken, Titan) a few seconds after the previous Guardian is defeated.

There's a good mix of physical and magical attacks throughout the various phases of this fight, so bring mixed mitigation. Each individual Guardian is no big threat, but make sure you refresh your mitigation before it drops or one of the later Guardians will sucker punch you. It's a long fight.

Event Quest Notes: Do your best to take advantage of elemental weakness here. Luneth can bring spellblades or elemental jumps, Desch can bring Chain -gas, Refia can bring Meteor Crash for the Land Turtle (and for self-buffing her Attack if you're not bringing Shout) and Sapphire Shot for the Salamander, and even Ingus can use the new Gaia Cross against the Turtle. Collectively these bosses have more HP than just about any other U+ boss in the game, so use those weaknesses to help you along.

    Commentary
    • You fight both Doga and Unei simultaneously.

You may want to bring a Banishing Strike or Dispel for Unei's Protect/Haste. Other than that, the only really dangerous attacks in this fight are magical, so bring maximum magic mitigation. I strongly suggest focus firing Doga first while also firing off a little AOE to start chipping down Unei's HP. Doga is the more dangerous of the pair (Unei's only really dangerous attack is her Holy), although there's something to be said for leaving him in his slightly less dangerous Default phase and killing Unei quickly; she's the weaker of the pair and with her gone there's less incoming damage when you push Doga into his Weak/Very Weak phases.

Since i probably won't get OK BSB i'm semi more interested in Gaia Cross we get

Complete the +++ dungeon to get Gaia’s Cross, a 5★ knight ability that deals two physical earth attacks to one target, raises the user’s Defense a large amount, and temporarily diverts all single-target physical attacks to them.

    To hone it we need
    MEO
    MIO
    MHO

Gaia's Cross looks pretty sexy. and unlike Aegis Strike I can actually hone it. Gaia's Cross + Beatrix SSB is just going to wreck so many battles.

(I have basically zero ff3 synergy so I would be hyped with any of the weapons on banner 1, except arcs renewing rains staff since I have that already. I don't want his other staff either. Or ingus shield. incoming disappointment)

I'm hoping for Arc's stuff and a/some weapons. Not expecting the bursts from either pull anyway and if by some crazy chance I'll pull copies it's gonna be extra weapons/armors for a weak realm.

Good point, may not follow my advice then, too impatient and I just want to hurry up and get my shitty dupe Arc SSB1 anyway.

Abilities look good. Gaia cross is kind of whatever to me but it's better than draw fire.
Going to take a shot at the OK BSB. I think the banner itself is more or less good enough and it's not like I have any III synergy.

Gaia Cross will just get better as new Knight abilities are released. The most recent addition in JP is a really good skill with DEF modifier.

There's no proof they will be there in the pool.

As far as I know, in every past lucky draw, every relic that was eligible to be inclued that was in the game at the time the lucky draw began was included in the pool. While that's not absolute proof, all signs point to them being in the pool.

Regardless, I'll pull at least once on banner 1 prematurely for synergy's sake as I went 1/23 with only a shared armor to show the last time FF3 came around and I have no other synergy for it.

Actually no. The most recent debuff lucky banner did not have Barret and Leila's SSBs in it despite them being released. This is likely due to a copy/paste from Japan but it's worth pointing out.

If in the current banner we have relics that appeared the first time they were never in LD iirc ( if lucky draw is up at the same time of the banner)

BTW, everyone here knows to level up Onion Knight for his motes right? If not.... level up Onion Knight for his motes, you get several of them for free that way. They unlock some of his later record spheres and are a key component to making him useful later on. You may not plan to use him, but who knows if you'll pull one of his relics!

I think we mentioned this earlier but it bears repeating.
