Seeing this tomorrow with pals. Reviews are echoing what we've said here: visually stunning but acting is shit.

Watched it yesterday.

It's honestly a bad movie. Acting is shit, story is shit, the dialogue is shit, you get the point. But the visuals are really cool so as long you're going under the assumption that you're just there to see some cool special effects, you'll be fine.

If you have the option, go drunk or stoned to hopefully numb the pain everytime someone opens their mouth. Sadly I was sober.

I thought about going to see it this weekend as there is not going to be crap for movies for the rest of the summer. I've never read the graphic novel though so there's that. And done spending my money on just pretty pictures too.

The only saving grace of this is that in one part of the movie Cara Delevingne, as Laureline, is wearing a dress and a couple of times it blows up and you can see her panties. I haven't seen the movie but you can see it in a couple of the TV spots.
