Bernie Would Have Won.
Bernie Would Have Won.

what a messIn a Jan. 5 email to The Hill, Vincent Tolliver, a former House candidate in Arkansas, said that Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, should not be chairman because of Islamic positions on homosexuality.
“His being a Muslim is precisely why DNC voters should not vote for him,” Tolliver wrote. “Muslims discriminate against gays. Islamic law is clear on the subject, and being gay is a direct violation of it. In some Muslim countries, being gay is a crime punishable by death.”
I was half-heartedly joking, as it is impossible to prognosticate future outcomes which did not happen. We have to live in the outcome in which Hillary was a shit candidate with a shit campaign and lost blue states which hadn't gone red in a generation.
That having been said, I don't know where Bernie would be weak in a path to 270. And as the guy in the white house can tell you, it's the only path that matters.
Agreed, it's something we'll never know for sure. However it seems unlikely.

Yeah, I think it is callous to do too much analysis of what would have happened and, to some extent, what did happen. For my money I'm looking at PA, MI, WI, OH, and FL, and I'm looking at massive turnout in areas that did not turn out in previous elections, and I'm thinking unions. But I'm not a doctor

David Duke is pretty much poison pilling Keith Ellison. The DNC has two choices at this point. Either dump Ellison, or give the GoP years worth of political ammo for having a double standard on Trump vs. Ellison.
But the only people who would care are democrats.
Like, republicans are already not going to vote for Ellison. And if democrats are genuinely skittish about this, then god help this fucking useless party.
Have you met democrats? Of course they will care about this.
Rs can't wait for you to nominate Ellison so they can use his past his against him
youre acting as if republicans need any legitimate reasons to run smear campaigns
also to me the issue was never that trump was endorsed by white supremacists, its that he was asked point blank "do you reject white supremacists" and his response was something like "i dunno what youre talking about i dont know who david duke is" like it was a hard question
that and he did know who david duke is since he tweeted about him before
they dont need a legitimate reason but are excited about the possiblilty of having one
but Perez has this in the bag at this point, right?
fuckin perez is my fuckin dude and i am ready for this
You all should watch Secular Talk and The Young Turks for the eventual meltdown. Its gonna be good.
Distain. Justice Democrats are honestly the worst idea they've come up with and I've started being unable to tolerate them as of late.
