I got my Hori HRAP4 through amazon. I kept the hayabusa stick, but i got rid of those god damn kuro buttons, they're fucking terrible. I switched the ball top to a bat top on both my eightarc and my hori. And have smoke sanwas on the hori.

yeah i bought both of mine (RAP3-SA & RAP4) thru amazon as well. i will say that while i definitely prefer sanwa buttons to the kuros, i didn't think the latter were bad or really warranted replacing. if you do decide to swap and don't have donor parts already, you can get a set of standard 30mm sanwas from arcadeshock for $30 or so shipped.
So everyone recommends that RAP4?
May as well scoop an arcade stick soon.
I love my HRAP4, the only slight issue i have is, i love my eightarc more because i use it on PC. There is a 1 inch extra gap difference between the stick and the buttons on both sticks. So going from one to the next feels a little off at times. Otherwise, can't go wrong.
The Qanba Obsidian looks sexy as fuck. I kinda want it >_>
More like, "Get free shipping on a product that is likely to never ship!".
Whatever stick you get, make sure it has both Xinput and DirectInput. Save yourself a lot of trouble.
Obsidian still gives me some weird issues whenever I use it on PC. The headphone port ends up taking over my sound so I lose some/all PC sound and occasionally the stick doesn't even sync.
now that i think of it, options are pretty limited now with madcatz out of the picture. besides hori, eightarc/qanba and razer, is there anyone else mass-producing arcade sticks anymore?
Say what you want about MadCatz, but their sticks were the Toyota Camry of the FGC: boring, but you knew exactly what you were getting and it was going to get the job done.
Razer has had several high-profile breakdowns.
Hori's button placement is wack (start right next to action buttons, options panel on the side).
Qanba is having delivery issues.
MVCI drops a trailer and DBZ decides to shit on it and drop a bomb trailer right on top of it lmao. NA signups for beta are live, but there is so much traffic that it has crashed:

I mean gamescomm is happening so it's not like this wasn't planned.
Both the trailers looked pretty good.
So Soul Storm allows you to control 2 characters at once. If one of your characters is already dead, it will revive them with a sliver of health to facilitate this.
There was an awful lot of meter being burned during Soul Storm. If I didn't know better, and I'm not sure I do, I would say it is straight up MVC1 Duo Attack (i.e. control 2 characters with unlimited meter).
I can definitely see Space Stone being used as a counter to Soul Stone because F that noise. I had enough of Duos in MVC1.
Jedah looks pretty fucking bad ass.
Signed up for the beta, can't wait!! But wtf is that first session schedule? Loool
ect exhibitions were a mix, idom destroyed snake 5-1, punk took nemo in a more respectable 10-7 with this fun round as a bonus: https://clips.twitch.tv/AverageSillyLatteKAPOW
