Haven't kept up with the forums or guild(s) in the last few years, but this is setsuko, heian and me at some bar in SF the other night, a reunion which sparked all the good memories and feels. Glad this is (and most of my PM's are) still here and thriving, especially the XI drama archive, thanks for keeping it alive @Sonomaa and crew. For everyone else:

Edwardtheblack originally founded BG so that gaijins could kill fafnir (some might scandalously claim so he could get a ridill - i don't really buy that)

We also tried Fafnir after the update, but Heavenorhell and PG were both there. Heavenorhell won the first pull but died twice, then, by some miraculous intervention, PG agreed to dice for the claim after the other LS died! We lost lot orz but it's all good.

This is what ed asked a lot of people when he was recruiting the very first members of the LS. In what seemed to be his last JP HNM hunt for a very, very long time, Ed killed Fafnir and asked if we wanted his title. Every time we've tried since then, except once, JP have raped us to the claim, even at the most oddball JP hours. We got him one time before, and as is the case with Fafnir, a few people screwing up caused everyone to die. orz.
