I'm not looking forward to this. Last of Us was created by a team that had a story to share and were ambitious about it. This is just giving into fan demand so I don't think it's going to be nearly as great of an experience, sheep will eat it up and say otherwise. The first game opened great and ended on a great note as well, I just have a strong feeling the magic will not be there for this next experience.

Personally, I can't wait, but I doubt we'll be playing this even in 2018. I'd say 2019 at earliest, looking at Naughty Dogs dev cycle.
