Jameis Winston and his sexual assault accuser have reached a settlement in her civil suit against him. Looks like it won't be making it to trial after all. No dollar amount has been released, but court documents say the two sides have "reached a compromise with contingencies" and that attorneys for both reported that the case was "resolved to the satisfaction of both parties".

So, with my zero legal experience I am going to guess this means she will be getting paid but nowhere near what she was originally seeking. I imagine this also means Winston will be dropping his counter suit, and that neither will be able to publicly comment on the matter without legal ramifications.
