CPU using 25% after Windows update

I thought I fixed this problem. >_< I have Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium and a few months ago after a update each core of my 4 core cpu would run at 25% at idle. I looked up the problem and after a long time of sifting through posts I found a patch that supposedly fixed the problem. I intstalled it and rebooted and it went back to normal. Yesterday my comp downloaded another update and when I rebooted the issue came up again. The only way I can get it to run at 0% like normal is if I stop Windows Update service in Task Manager. I don't want to leave it like that though. Does anybody know how to permanently fix this?

My fiancee has had the same issue with her computer. Any time she does a Windows or GPU update she has to re-run an Intel app to fix it.

Ugh, this problem can be annoying as hell... Had it a while back on my private laptop (Win7 home). The constant CPU load is usually a sign that something with the windows update components is messed up.
Tried the windows update troubleshooter already?
