    • Ifrit
HP: ~113,283 (Ifrit), ~28,746 (Infernal Nail)
Target Score: Defeat Ifrit without being KO'd, Destroy the Infernal Nail within 3 turns.

    • Titan
      HP: ~143,729

      • Weak: None
      • Resists:
      • Absorbs:
      • Vulnerabilities: Slow Abilities and Stun Abilities

    Commentary

Ifrit uses Hellfire as an interrupt when the Infernal Nail is destroyed or after 3 turns have passed since the Nail appeared. Titan uses Geo Crush as an interrupt at the start of his Weak phase and Weight of the Land as an interrupt at the start of his Very Weak phase.

Both bosses are mixed physical/magical, so don't skimp on the mitigation.

    Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak ++
    Graffias
    HP: ~157,787 (Graffias), ~49,262 each (Comesmites), ~22,787 (Graffias's Tail)
    Target Score:
    • Defeat Graffias without being KO'd.
    • Afflict Graffias with Slow.
    • Reduce Graffias's ATK.

    Weak: None
    Absorbs: None
    Resists: None
Vulnerabilities: Slow Abilities and Stun Abilities (Both), Poison Abilities, Silence Abilities, Confuse Abilities, and Sleep Abilities (Comesmites)

    Commentary

Two Comesmites spawn after Graffias is reduced to a certain percentage of HP (70%?). They respawn when killed. At a certain point in the fight, Graffias's Tail becomes targetable; if it is not destroyed within a certain amount of time, Graffias will use a special attack (not sure which one).

This is another pure physical battle, so leave the Shellgas at home. Note that most of Graffias's damage is ranged, so be careful with your back row characters.

Total medals = 18, meaning you can only afford to lose 3 medals to get Mastery.

    Copperbell Mines +++
    Gyges the Great
HP: ~184,985 (Gyges), ~102,493 each (Stone Servants)
    Target Score:

    • Reduce Gyges's ATK.
    • Afflict Gyges with Poison.

    Weak: None
    Absorbs: None
    Resist: None
    Null: None
Vulnerabilities: Poison Abilities, Silence Abilities, and Stun Abilities (Both), Everything Else (Stone Servants)

    Commentary

Once he is reduced to a certain HP percentage (80%?) Gyges will move and begin to break down the back wall of the battle arena. He will not attack in this state. After a short time has passed, Gyges will break the wall and two Stone Servants will spawn (and continue to respawn as they are killed) and Gyges will resume attacking.

Yet another pure physical fight here. You can't permanently kill the Stone Servants so it's best to just ignore them and focus Gyges down.

Special (always follows Swing): 凶 Flame Breath (NAT: deal 300% ranged physical fire damage to all targets, ignoring defense, with a 225% chance to Sap them)

    Moveset (<50% HP: Weak):

35% chance: 凶 Claw (PHY: deal 350% physical damage to one target, ignoring defense)
50% chance: Swing (NAT: deal 275% ranged physical damage twice to random targets, with a 15% chance to Silence them)
Special (always follows Swing): 凶 Flame Breath (NAT: deal 300% ranged physical fire damage to all targets, ignoring defense, with a 225% chance to Sap them)

    Commentary

Chudo-Yudo is pure physical damage, and half of his attacks pierce defenses, so stack up your attack break effects. CY always chases his Swing attack with Flame Breath, so if you see the Swing come out you can be prepared to Defend for the Flame Breath, if needed. He is vulnerable to Poison if you need the extra damage help.

15% chance: Attack (PHY: deal 112% physical damage to all targets)

    Moveset (Flying):
100% chance: 凶 Sheet of Ice (NAT: deal 300% ranged physical damage to all targets, ignoring defense, with a 15% chance to Paralyze and Sap them)
Special: Touchdown (PHY: deal 422% physical damage to one target)

    Commentary

Isgebind has Faraway status (ie, cannot be hit by melee range attacks) while in Flying state. Isgebind enters Flying state every 5 turns until he hits his Weak phase, at which point he enters Flying state every 4 turns. Isgebind uses Touchdown and leaves Flying state on his 2nd turn in Flying state above 50% HP, or his 3rd turn in Flying state below 50% HP.
Isgebind's damage is entirely physical, so don't bother with magical defenses. He does have a fairly powerful ranged defense-ignoring attack, so pack in as many stacking attack debuffs as you can. Said attack also has a fair chance to Paralyze (almost 56% chance to Paralyze at least one character while he's Flying), so you might want to pack an Esuna, or possibly Penalty Break. He does have melee immunity during his Flying time, but he doesn't stay airborne long so even if you bring a melee party you can probably just Defend through the air phases and wait for him to land again

Event Quest Notes: Nothing much special to note here. This is one of the select few Cid's Missions where you can use a native Wall, so take advantage of that if you can. Thancred can do a ton of damage with the new Ninja doublecast fire spell if you've honed it, Yda can use Second Wind Cannon to deal fire damage, and both Papalymo and Alphinaud can use fire magic. Just hammer away at his fire weakness and do your best to keep HP up and the boss debuffed.

    Moveset (Razor Plumes):
Special: Feather Lance (NAT: deal 246% magical wind damage to all targets, remove self from fight)

    Commentary
Garuda uses Mistral Song on her first turn after entering Phase 2 and Phase 3. Garuda summons a pair of Razor Plumes on her second turn after entering Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4. The first wave of Razor Plumes stay for 4 of Garuda's turns, at which point any living Plumes use Feather Lance and Garuda enters Phase 3. The second wave of Razor Plumes stay for 3 of Garuda's turns, at which point any living Plumes use Feather Lance and Garuda enters Phase 4. The third wave of Razor Plumes stay for 2 of Garuda's turns, at which point any living Plumes use Feather Lance. Reducing Garuda to less than 30% HP at any point skips any intervening Phases and proceeds directly to Phase 5. In Phase 5, Garuda uses a version of Aerial Blast depending on how many Razor Plumes used Feather Lance; the fewer the Plumes which survived to kill themselves, the weaker Aerial Blast is.

OK, so that was a lot of note text. The gist of it is to DPS Garuda as hard as possible to get her to <30% HP ASAP, without neglecting killing her Razor Plumes. If she makes it to Phase 4, you're going to have a hard time killing the Plumes before they use Feather Lance. Either way, Garuda's damage is almost entirely physical, and the magical damage she does have ignores resistance, so there's no point in bringing Shellga unless you expect some Feather Lances to hit. Do bring at least a bit of magic debuffing so that Mistral Song doesn't demolish you, though. If you can swing a back row party, you might even want to bring Magic Breakdown instead of Power Breakdown, relying on back row + Wall + Protectga to keep you safe from Garuda's melee attacks.

Was the event end date datamined or is it an assumption? It would be funny to see an event come and go before the previous one even ends lol.

Assumption, I always add the standard 10 day period, I imagine it'll end a few days after 5.

"Coeurl 'o Nine tails" was shown in the Announcements (and now in MO), which is odd, since it's not a Coeurl (but a Rafflesia). <.<
