Pretty much yeah. We have to wait for the Zenith of Crisis event (partially translated but not completely) and then we start getting FT battles introduced in older Torments starting with FFVII. We could be getting the update early anyway because the FFVI event features Legend materia relics and a FT stage.

To quote the "Maintenance Complete, Balance Changes" announcement:
Adjustments have been made to the damage calculations for physical attacks.
* No attacks have had their damaged reduced as a result of this change.
* This change does not affect damage received, which remains the same as before.
This should be referring to a raise in the soft-cap for ATK (the value at which further ATK boosts have a lessened effect on damage dealt). The new ATK soft-cap is approximately 805 ATK, compared to ~700 previously.

Assuming global gets the same torment format as JP when FT comes out, there will be 2 active torments at any given time, with 1 rotating out each week rather than all of them being either on or off simultaneously, so the FTs for the older torments come out over time with FF7 coming first.

Oh thought you meant the Gogo event. FFV's Torment will get the FT stage but it's not among the first ones iirc. It's quite recent in JP.

It's easy to miss really but starting with the next FFVI event we get one for every single weekly event. They also come back in future ones of the same realm.

Edit: Another Mythril dungeon has been mined for the 30th anniversary celebrations in JP. That's another 30 free mythril on top of the previous 30 and the login bonuses.

Really looking forward to GW (some form of it anyway) to come to GL in 6 months, the amount of mythril is insane, 2x 30 mythril dungeons, orbfest, another roulette event, free Tyro USB2 and free 10 mythril and log-in shit. Went from having 1 mythril after the 3x LD to now having 90+.

New to the game, main team so far is:

Tyro: Lv. 31: No equipment of note really. 4* Thornlet?
Bartz: Lv. 32: Excaliur (V). Dragon Gloves (IV). Book of Memories.
Rydia: Lv. 33: Nothing of note for gear really. I haven't had a healer, so been using her as one.
Cloud: Lv. 35: Gold Sword (VII). Diamond Helm.
Tidus: Lv. 34: Mythril Sword. Bright Armguard. Nothing really great.


I currently have 195 Mythril and 835k gil.
Essentially, I've only done one 11-Draw so far. I see the game is starting to ramp up difficulty, especially in the FF8 dungeon against the 4 X-082ATM bosses. Should I just use my mythril now for upgrades to gear, or hold out for the FF8 event in a month and hope for Squall stuff? Also, should I use the shitton of Eggs I have from making the account 2 years ago but never playing, to boost Bartz up to 50 to help out, or just level naturally for now until I hit 50 on each?

EDIT: I do have 1 memory crystal to unlock any character I want, so there is that. I also did unlock one healer, Ovelia. Is there any changes I should make to my team overall. I have the FFXI, FFT characters from events, rest of my characters are all from just realm dungeons, so slim pickings overall.

EDIT2: I have FFXI characters, not XII. Put an extra I on accident.

I'd do a draw now on this banner, then start saving for festivals. Alternatively you could try for Wall or just wait for the dungeon updates, where it only costs 25 mythril to draw multiple realms.

Definitely do the weekly event as far as you can, you can get 5 FFXI characters, and 6 FFT characters, without having to use blank-heros-souls. Best to save souls for when you pull a relic for a character you don't have, or cant normally get.

The weekly relic draws are realm specific so if you want FFXI or FFT weapons nows the time - but then your committing to those characters for now.

The "Keeper's Choice Soul Breaks" banners have a variety of realms in them, and even let you pick a relic from a list when you do an 11 pull - it's nice if you want a relic now, but not one from FFXI or FFT. Plus, Vol. 2 has some pretty decent stuff on it. Not sure I can recommend Vol. 1 anymore though.

The "Raid Campain Relic Draw" has a nice variety of NEW things too - especially when you consider FFIV, XII and VIII events are coming soon.
