It would be pretty wild for Brady to win MVP, when Rodgers scored over 50% more TDs than Brady did.

David Johnson had a Marshall Faulk kind of year. It's always QBs. Fuck the QBs.

If the reward was "most outstanding player", then David Johnson would have an excellent case, doing what he did behind that shitty O-line.

0 QBs deserve MVP over David Johnson. And if Tom Brady is remotely in the conversation then Lev Bell should be too

David Johnson's 2118 yards from scrimmage is indeed impressive, but it's only 40th all time. His consistency game to game is remarkable, but on a losing team it's hard to make much of a case for that, especially considering he failed to go 16 for 16 and set the new record for 100+ yard games.

Comparing that to scoring the 7th most TDs in a single season all time is, eh.

Just realized that Rodgers is the only QB in NFL history with 4 40-TD seasons.

    Brees - 3
Peyton, Brady, Favre, Culpepper, Young - 2
Stafford, Luck, Cam, Warner - 1

Jesus I remember when Warner was the second QB to ever do it. Can't believe it used to be such a milestone

Also you seem to be including rushing touchdowns which you should make note of thanks.

Falcons finished with the 7th most points of any team all time

Matt Ryan and the Falcons are in some elite company, with only Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos in 2013, Tom Brady's New England Patriots perfect* season in 2007, Aaron Rodgers and the 2011 Green Bay Packers, the Daunte Culpepper to Randy Moss connection from the 1998 Minnesota Vikings, the 2012 Patriots, Drew Brees and the 2011 New Orleans Saints ahead of Atlanta.
insane how good the 98 Vikings were for that era

Touchdowns are touchdowns, only racists exclude rushing (which is how Cam and one of Culpepper's hit 40 [and both of Steve Young's, who was the first black QB like Bill Clinton was the first black president])

Yeah but they are not the 98 falcons team unfortunately. They ain't getting to the SB. Count on it.

A persuasive argument but they have as good a chance as anyone else in the NFC

To be fair, Brady had Blount rush for a franchise record amount of TD's. A-ARON had to throw his TD's because they had no ground game. Which should result in more of an MVP shift towards Rodgers.
