Is it just my TV that has the top and bottom of the screen slightly cut off? Anyone know if the game has a way to change display settings a bit?

Edit: Nvm, managed to fix it with Switch settings.

And ya, Pyra's model animation needs a lot of work. I watched it for a while, and her walk animation, as well as how her legs connect with her torso in general, are pretty bad compared to the other characters I've seen. The game also has collision issues when on an edge or uneven surface, like rocks. It does the whole FFXI rubber-banding as the models try to stay connected to the ground, and end up whipping back and forth between vertical and horizontal positioning. Battles are actually faster then the game demo's have shown, but the auto-attacks are almost comical with their repetitive animations that don't quite string together properly, especially compared to how well combos and special attacks perform in tandem.

I suppose the graphics and animation are the compromise for all of the content that this game supposedly comes with.

I guess I had not paid attention to the voice acting in the trailers. I didn't watch gameplay footage either. So I did not expect the accents from certain characters. They aren't bad, though.

I wanted to play all day tomorrow but I'm going to the SEC fanfare, a bday party, and a dinner party... I wonder if it would be rude to bring the switch to the dinner party...

Is there any way to get a proper look at the map? I know you can pull it up by pressing left stick but it seems super zoomed in and I don't seem to be able to do anything in it D:

Is anyone else noticing that the resolution is just slightly off screen on the edges?

The game is using dynamic resolution (and doesn't even seem to reach full 720p at its best), so lots of weirdness coming from that

Not that I've found, and judging from the many reviews citing the map as awful, probably not. :\

(Not counting the bond the game forces you to do in tutorial)
