Are you still stuck on therion 3's boss? I blinded him via hired help twice and just ele nuked him after.

Interesting to see different strats. For therion 3 I ran tress/scholar, therion/apoth, prim/hunter and ophi/merchant I think and debuffed/buffed very early with hired help (merc and dancers), ships captain and unlucky sellsword. I've basically never used cyrus and used prim/scholar instead.
Chapter 3s down. I'm guessing the chapter 4s are going to be a significant increase in difficulty (which is good because stuff is dying too fast for me to Collect from effectively...)
The only ones I had trouble with was Alfyns, Cyrus and I think one other one. I had all the advanced jobs unlocked and between Cyrus dropping 15k triple nukes and Olbrects 6hit warmaster attack, the boss would be pretty dead by turn 6 or 7
Oh yeah - I beat octopath. It was fun. Collab coming to FFRK. Very excite.
I still need to retry the final boss. I haven't used any of my nuts yet so need to get on that. But also need to figure out what to use since I got my ass handed to me on the first phase.
It's a pain since when you get 3 spawns their elemental weakness changes which makes it a headache to break them all
Yeah. When I retry I'm using up all the nuts I have snd giving everyone the cleric skill to heal past their max HP. Tgat and bring more magic users.
Yeah my two final parties ended up similar - apoth/cleric p1 and cleric/apoth p2 with encore, hang tough, saving grace and patience (or show must go on? one of the two); rest damage dealers with saving grace, bp eater, physical/magical enhancement (the one that gives you permanent buff), and surpassing power if they could break cap or patience if not. Tress/rune on phase 1 but I think she would have been better phase 2 (aoe sidestep is amazing either phase though) with cyrus and haanit rounding it out. Apoth's job is to stay alive at all costs and olive of life L/concot/refreshing jam the party to health with dohter's, and double up cyrus with aelfric's otherwise.
P1 once I got the knack of when to heal and when to buff it wasn't so bad. p2 you want to burst him down in one go (I didn't, and I lived to tell the tale, but it was a lot messier than it needed to be). I aelfric'd dancer/starseer here but would have been fine just using steorra's at max team BP.
I'm still debating how I should set up. I was thinking Primrose/Scholar, Cyrus/Sorcerer, Opheilia/Starsteer, H'aanit/Warrior. Not sure if I'm going overkill with magic but from what I heard/saw the first phase is magic based and the 2nd is physical.
The problem I’ve heard is that 2nd phase Starseer is really good for its dispel ability
It is. Save starseer unless you plan on obliterating phase 2 fast.
Got to the 2nd phase of the boss, but then got the living hell kicked out of me since it locked out my magic.
I am never doing this again...
