Ffxiv PC, is this good enough?

How does that look for a pre-built Acer? Good enough for FFXIV?

I'm literally on my way to the store right now so hoping someone can help. I also would rather build my own but I need something to use while I figure out what the fuck I'm doing wrong. I'm not asking if this is FANTASTIC, just if it's good enough to be my bitch machine for now.

Upgrade the ram to 16gb and you'll be set for a while, fairly well priced machine for its specs but it is microcenter so its to be expected. That place is like the promised land for computer parts.

Yeah, get it. Can add ram and an ssd later, but as is it's a strong deal that you won't really have to open up. Also remember to uninstall some of the acer bloatware since there'll probably be some shit apps on it.


add: it's funny that the link also shows me that it's available at the microcenter nearest me as well. Where was a deal similar to this when I built mine a year and a half ago lol.

Hey I posted in the other thread asking for your advice orinthia, ignore that haha. I appreciate the both of you, I wasn't sure if that was a good deal but it sounds like I made a good choice.

Would it be a good idea to do a fresh install of Windows 10 on the SSD to just take care of all the bloatware at once, or is there a risk here I'm not seeing?

About the only thing might be any acer specific drivers for stuff, but that can be dealt with easily enough (either win10 will get working drivers or you can find them on acer's website if something doesn't work). A couple other deals popped today elsewhere but this is still a nice one since you get it right now.
