I stopped following Wikileaks when I noticed they were starting posting a bunch of partisan comments. Unbiased my ass.
Ahahaha wow. I wish people I didn't know would defend me in the same way.
This release is this AM, dl is available and pw release in 15 min. I'm not brave enough to dl that shit though. Here is press release: https://wikileaks.org/ciav7p1/#PRESS
Apparently large release about CIA hacking tools
Hope yall ready for some solid tin foil hattery around Russian hacking
Shit does not sound good. In summary CIA hacking tools are loose in the wild, zero day vulnerabilities, malware that targets smart TVs, androids, iphones, Windows, Linux, OSX and routers. The tools have the ability to place "finger prints" making it look like another foreign power.
Okay. This is beyond tin foil now.
"Fingerprints" aside shit is a big deal if all this stuff is floating around out there.
Curious to see how POTUS feels about Wikileaks now lol
So the leak is about the CIA being able to hack the internet of things, and we are supposed to be surprised or upset?
Lol
I mean I guess if you don't care all those tools are now in the hands of god knows who, and you don't give too many fucks about privacy then sure shrug it off.
Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized "zero day" exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.
Well if that's what it is about it's concerning.
It seems a little more that they're trying to say the CIA is framing other countries by planting digital evidence.
i think there is a good amount of false pretense that these tools arent already all over the fucking place
it is incredibly easy to hack the internet of things
most of the people who work for the cia in this regard were making scripts just like this for fun before and they'll do it after cia too
the only thing notable about this is how fucking stupid it is to publish it, as is usual with wikileaks
That was just one tiny piece I shared because I knew Alex Jones types would be all over it. Apparently they released the code for unzipping "thousands of docs" this AM, I dont think anyone has actually gone through them yet just going off the WL summary.
Those tools have already been in the hands of god knows who.
Yeah, almost none of these tools, nor the knowledge of their existence, is new.
Carry on then, didn't realize you guys knew all this stuff in this release.
"CIA has hacking tools that they've taken (stolen) from the internet"
"CIA uses misdirection in cyber attacks"
