Never ran across any noticeable cheating in my 100+ hours of playtime. A lot of the more vocal people scream and whine about stuff because they don't know how much damage guns actually do vs various levels of armor nor how lag compensation works. (I have one friend who when under pressure waits at a corner for the enemy to turn it so he can die every time instead of turning the corner himself first.)
Though, if a building doesn't load in you can shoot through it for some 'hax' kills. This is a very rare occurrence though. I had one of the bridges not load for me once before, used it to get a cheap kill and then subsequently died to blue because I was forced to swim across.
I haven't run into any cheating as far as I could tell. Don't know what my playtime is anymore. Also haven't played much in the past month so maybe it has gotten worse?
2 new maps, climbing mechanics, & weather coming soon.
Climbing and vaulting will hopefully get rid of some of the frustrations of getting stuck in weird corners and the terrible jumping mechanic in this game.
Dusk looks cool for this and will really fuck with shadows. I'm still waiting on the snow weather pattern.
I honestly don't think I'd ever want to play a shooter that handled hit detection entirely server side. All they really need to introduce, if they haven't already, is a check to make sure that other player models haven't been moved unreasonably far away from where they should be according to the server at the time of hit detection. Aimbotting isn't something you can prevent or stop with netcode and verification, you can only discover it's usage via VAC/etc and then ban.

That second one is amazing.
I've gotten stuck in a loop of my UAZ repeatedly running into a wall. I'd hit the wall, rubberband back a couple meters, then run into it again repeatedly. Eventually tried to jump out cause I couldn't direct the car at all and died.
Today PUBG is on sale on GMG for $21.89 with coupon code provided from email. I was going to get this, but my 980TI sold. I'm now using a GTX 1050 for the foreseeable future.
Why do you change your computer hardware so often?....
He has a problem.
Yep yep. Since the most recent mining craze driving GPU prices through the roof it was the best (at this moment) opportunity to dump the 980TI. I bought the GTX 1050 for $31.54 (or something) after rebate. I'm looking at doing a Ryzen build as soon as I offload my 4690K+MB+cooler and am getting the EK A240G custom loop kit. I'm shooting for a 1080TI. Then, I won't change for awhile (I hope).
I have a Radeon 370 or something in my PC and I run between 45 and 70 fps. You should be fine with a 1050.
Steam summer sale is hot garbage. Bought off of GMG for $21.89. Will most likely be on tomorrow.
I've got three 25% off coupons for any BG good brother or sister. PM me if you want one.
Edit: Should've said this. It's a steam key but bought from GreenManGaming. They are legit and all that. Been buying Steam keys from them for over three years now.
