Is it an across the board FPS drop or random/circumstantial?

There's some decent YouTube channels with people getting like 50 kills in squads. It's insane.

Haven't played in a while because I've been feeling lazy when I get home from work, but was planning on playing a bit tonight. I usually get around 70 fps with everything on low except textures and view distance. I'll see where I'm at after this update.

I watched shroud, chadd, just9n, and BuhBye get 48 kills or something combined in a squad game. Completely ridiculous. I'm happy when I get 8+.

I get 45-50 fps in crowded busy areas running 1440p on high. I need to grab a 1070 or something similar soon because this 1060 can't hang with 1440 as well as I'd like and it's holding the rest of my build back.

I recently bought a 1060 6GB and I agree, it can't do 1440 well. I returned it. I'm still waiting for something at a reasonable price. The Micro Center that's 85 miles away from me had a GTX 1080 FE for $283 on Thursday. Of course I'm at work and you couldn't reserve the card online.

pretty much across the board. the worst is being in high density areas. it used to at least be manageable like 70 fps but now i'm dropping to like 40-60. i also notice that very rarely do i get 120+ FPS anymore even when nobody's remotely nearby, where that used to be the case all the time. the forced shadows/PP thing really fucked me.

Get a Titan X video card and an i9 with 32GB of RAM (whatever the best one is atm) and you can probably hit 115.

That clip is great.

The game still has some really jank moments ... I was on a 2-seater bike, racing up to the small town where my 3 squadmates had landed. I got there safe, and I was pulling the bike slowly into a garage building when it just spontaneously exploded. I didn't hit anything, not even a little bump. It just 'sploded.

well no that's not what i'm saying. i'm just using that as a barometer because you asked if it was across the board drops vs specific scenarios.

it's across the board and i at least used to get 100+ FPS in many areas. now that's pretty rare. again, just to distinguish what it was like before vs now.

I've seen some streamers get sniped by hackers, but other than that I haven't ran into any that I know of.

Some questionable shit, but it's more likely that I just couldn't see someone or something.

I've been getting better though and started hitting top 10 in solo fpp with a decent frequency so when I do I've started checking the stats of the person who kills me and the person who wins.

I'm not a big fan of FPP. I did a few squad games in it and it was as fun as the regular version but solo it's not as good imo.
