Realistically if you wanted anything out of Destiny 1 other than a "competitive" (used very loosely) multiplayer ability-based FPS, we all wasted our time. Didn't even really get a story out of it.

All I got out of it was fun. Damn Bungie! I refuse to play D2 unless it comes with cake too.
Half my friends on PC want to play rpgs, other half play fps. Hopefully I can meet in the middle with several of them on this since my PS4 is a paperweight.
Ps4 the beneficiary of the exclusives?
One decent gun (Hawkmoon), a few shitty guns, some really shitty maps (even by Destiny standards), and three shitty strikes. The only things that will impact you, whatever platform you choose, would be the Exotics and the maps. The strikes were never in any of the rotated activities (Nightfalls) because they couldn't/wouldn't separate activity rotations between the platforms, and the guns were marginalized because Xur would never sell them for the same reason the strikes never showed up.
So ultimately none of the exclusive stuff was ever relevant in the game and I expect that to continue in Destiny 2. I'm sure PC players will be able to hack the exclusive crap into the game anyway.
Hawkmoon was the most relevant, mainly when the Lucky bullets stacked. I think Zen Meteor and Jade Rabbit (maybe) have seen fringe use in Crucible.
Overall though, none of the exclusive weapons mattered in PvE and Hawkmoon was the only one to ever see serious use in Crucible.
Kaslo's idea of fun:
I R Best, but seriously, people should always jump when firing rockets for that reason.
When I went to Game Stop at lunch yesterday it sounded like preorders will start after the trailer today. I'm out of town for a meeting, but might have my assistant go preorder it for me so I can get my Cayde.
Sept 8, preorder for beta access.
There will be a ton of loot.
That is all.

Preorder page confirms it's coming for PC (also has information on the collector's editions):
https://www.destinythegame.com/buy
Collector's Edition is $250 and is available for preorder at Walmart and Gamestop currently (Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Toys R Us are listed).
Comes with a messenger bag, and a bunch of odd survival stuff (solar powered charger, wut..?).
Limited Edition (currently only available through Gamestop) is $100.
Do we know if its just a PC port? If so I'm not even going to consider it.
Spoiler: show
No idea at this point -- also, way to ruin my sextuple post >.>;
