I checked the three weekly updates that talked about Faction Rallies and they didn't say anything one way or another. I was hoping they would do it this way though, just so it'd introduce more weapons and give more consequence to the event.

I swear I read that we'd get the other weapons later but I looked back through the updates and don't see any mention of that. Weird, oh well. Hopefully Dead Orbit gets some good guns because they're going to win every faction rally.
