Prestige Calus down. One phased. Was doing over 1.5 mil dmg consistently each failed run too.
I have no real frame of reference cause I get Bungie stuff for free, but I'd hold off until you see if you like the base gameplay enough. 2 has the same issues as the original in that there is a lack of endgame content, which will have to be filled out later by expansions.
But as I'm sure most of the regulars in the 2 threads would say, the gunplay is enough to keep you around between the spurts of content. Since there's no actual subscription fee associated with the game (especially on PC) there's no real disadvantage to just playing when you feel like since you're not obligated to justify a subscription fee.
Hoping to set up a prestige run in a few hours (2-3 ideally, but depends when I get home), so let me know if anyone is interested.
Maybe a couple more hours.. had something that went longer than planned.

https://blog.activision.com/t5/Desti.../ba-p/10452174Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris, takes place after the conclusion of the Destiny 2 campaign where you are dispatched to Mercury on a quest to find Osiris, the most powerful Warlock to have ever lived, to discover the answers humanity needs to fight back against the Vex.
Curse of Osiris adds a new chapter to the world of Destiny 2, expanding the universe by adding an all-new cinematic story with new and returning characters, a new destination to explore, Mercury and its Infinite Forest, a new social space to visit called the Lighthouse, new missions, new strikes, new raid content, new free roam activities. a world quest to complete, and more.
That's definitely a warmind.
Ummm this is the Reef right?
So, in rewatching it..
Spoiler: show
They look like the red ribbons in the shot of the Lighthouse before it (which doesn't help the issue as Mercury wouldn't have that view..). And the symbol on the ground is throwing me off.
The more I look at it, the more I think it looks like Vex architecture than Reef structures..
