Looking for sim card and plans info for the US

Question about sim card and plans for the US.

So i'm living in Canada and might go to the US randomly, so i need a plan for when i go there.

Is there plans that you can charge a sim card with exemple 300 minutes, unlimited SMS, 3GB of data. And it stays on the card for unlimited time.

So like if i go to the US and i use 100 minutes and 1 GB, next time i go there i have 200 minutes left and 2 GB (please note that i could exemple go 2 days in April and the next time would be in janary 2018) so would like to keep whati paid for

Are you trying to use your phone and just have a separate card in the states, or looking for a second phone for states only? I know theres pay per use phones at like every 7/11 in the states, but I dont recall if they include data. Honestly, chances are it's cheaper to just call your carrier and ask them for some temporary plan that allows you to call from the states.

Maybe look for a daily pay as you go plan? Something like this: http://www.prepaid-wireless-guide.co...ily-plans.html Data pricing looks steep, about $10/1gb, but it's about par unless you go monthly.

There's others you can pay yearly, but it seems pretty wasteful to go that far if your use is so small.

All Canadian carriers have plans for the US, you can just roam for $xx a day extra on your plan and your normal rates apply beyond that.

Videotron they charge about 7$ per day

What I need to check is if I'm better with 2 gb per month and us roaming

Or 5 gb per month no USA roaming ( use hangout to call to US and pay them 7$ per day if I go to the us)

Mines does $5CAD/day in the US (Fido), caps at $50CAD (10days) for that billing cycle. This works great for me because I sometimes stay for almost a month in Washington state and with my current billing, it comes to $90CAD/month at most. Previously with travel packs it would've cost essentially the same but it would come with much less. This way I get to keep my unlimited talk and text and my 7GB of data.

Never tried them myself, but a couple people I know like roam mobility.
