I'm getting pissed off at ESPN this season. There were like a dozen games on today and not ONE of them was on a ESPN channel. They had soccer and poker in primetime tonight. Nobody in the US cares about that shit! They need to have at least one game on every night.

ESPN has the rights to show baseball so they should. During this time of the year when there is no football, hockey, or any other real sport it's ridiculous to air poker which is like watching grass grow when they could put on something people actually care about.

Edit: Let's not forget the part where it was the bottom of the 8th, Texas was already losing by 12 runs and Beltre (standing where he typically stands for his warmups) was 3 hits shy of 3000 and had gone 3-3 on the day already. Ump needs to get the stick outta his ass

They still have a long way to go to make it interesting. Winning 4 in a row helps for sure, but they gotta keep winning like 3 out of every 4 games (if not 4 out of every 5) if they want to even think about competing for a playoff spot.

I may be Canadian but I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Jays are my team lol. At this point my enjoyment of baseball is from afar, enjoying good play rather then rooting hardcore for a particular team

The Jays are definitely a mega longshot, but the AL has been pretty shit this year and the Jays are only four games back of where they were this time 2015 so it's not impossible. Improbably, but not impossible.

Also the Rays are definitely making moves to win now. Very quietly they've been hot for a while now after being off to nearly as bad a start as the Jays.

Happ almost got the boot last night too after Angel Hernandez called a third strike a ball (and a walk). Happ walked over to Martin and Hernandez started saying "you want something?" to him like he was trying to goad him into getting himself ejected. It was pathetic.
