ESPN did a segment with Harold Reynolds, Pedro Martinez, and some white guy (I don't follow ESPN to know all of the people anymore) did their breakdown on it. The end of it? Pedro said Sanchez "will wear it" from basically everyone. They also discussed how basically everyone loves Miggy so Romine must've said something to really piss him off. Something about how "it's not all about you" and there is/was maybe beef between Ausmus and Girardi. But they all agreed that Sanchez's cheap shots will be noted by all teams and he basically put a target on his back.

Verlander has been pretty solid the entire year. It's been the rest of the team that has failed. Pitching good, bats/pen suck. Bats good, pitching sucks. Starters/bats good, bullpen blows it.

18th in fWAR for pitchers this year, so a clear frontline starter. With two more years on his contract, that is a shitload of value.
