Well that was unfortunate. And I was about to praise the Leafs for having the sense to stay out of the fucking box.

Wat, Freddy tackled a player, no call, Carrick tackled Wilson, no call. Refs kept them out of the box

Really don't think Freddy was worth a call, Carrick's was debatable, and that second penalty call was debatable too. I'm also accustomed to way more frequent, way more egregious penalties from the Leafs, so by my standards they were doing pretty good up until that 5v3.

If you want to complain about non calls that should have been a penalty there for cross-checking Martin, twice. I'm chalking most of these up to "it's the playoffs", but it blows for refs to be letting all kinds of shit go and then call that second penalty because it just makes it look like they're trying to force a close game.

The reffing has been shit all season and the Leafs have lost more than one game because of it, so I'm not super sympathetic and I don't expect anyone in here to be sympathetic to the Leafs when it happens to us.

My main issue is penalties that cause turnovers, I get some of the rough stuff not being called, since I didn't mention Beagle getting cross checked in the corner
