It does seem off, can't really say why though.

To me the trailer feels a lot more cartoony and slapstick then the original? haven’t read the comics so I’m not sure if the original or this is closer to the correct tone, I’ll probably see it but yeah, it might be the tone throwing people off.
It's been a bit since i've seen the other ones but, i thought they had a bunch of comedy as well?
Edit:went back and watched the old trailer, a little bit of comedy but waaay more emphasis on action(no goofy sound effects either lol)
Blame guardians of the galaxy/avengers, now everyone thinks their movie has to have a ton of comedy in it or it wont sell for da big bucks
Sure is a lot of not Ron Fuckmothering Pearlmen going on here.

Still rather have Hellboy 3 and Selma Blair as his sidekick

I'll miss it not being Ron Perlman and Guillermo Del Toro, but this still looks like it could be entertaining enough to see in theaters.
Rated R is a nice bonus too.

Currently sitting at 35. Being described as a gory comedy that retells his origin story.

10% on RT. "Worst comic book film ever made."
Dolph Lundgren Punisher, Hasslehoff Nick Fury, or even the recent Fantastic Four movie are all criminally bad.
It would be an incredible achievement to be worse then all of those.
Or that. Though I've never actually seen it.
I'll just leave this here..
Ok lets say bottom 5 all top superhero movies. Close enough
I'd have to see it to fully rank it but I ain't paying for it based on these ratings
