It was decent, it can have time to find it's footing.

Don't think this will be as interesting as Legion, but could still be interesting enough to keep watching.

    Spoiler: show
I was really worried the dad was going to turn against his family after finding out they were mutants and I am really glad they didn't go that route. It was much nicer seeing him choose family over his job.

I watched the premire the other night. I thought it was good for a pilot. I don't like how it's set in a alternate universe where the X-men have mysteriously disappeared. Why couldn't they have just set it in the X-men MCU like Sony did with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? What could it hurt? It is nice that we got some very familiar characters right off the bat though.

    Spoiler: show
I loved the scene where the father goes to meet the mutant guy, who's name I can't remember right now, and after he walks in the bar and Stan Lee walks out and makes his cameo and behind him in the window it says, "TEX'S BAR" with the lights for the T and the E burnt out heh.

Well, don't the current movie x-men movies still take place in the past?....I can't really remember Apocalypse much, can't remember if they made it to present day yet lol.

Made me happy to hear that.

The base story is very cliche and could see everything happening in the pilot coming from 10 miles away as its standard [mutant] fare in that regard and nothing new. The sentinel program is interesting but I do hope that if the show does well they can toss in a random real sentinel here and there for special effects.

But it seems to have promise and I enjoyed watching it. I also like Stephen Moyer (Vampire Bill) so will continue to give the show a chance for him. It was a good time watching it, nothing super suspenseful.

The movies are still in the 1980's I think? Well the X-Men titled ones

This show seems to be sitting between X-Men Apocalypse and Logan. Maybe we will find out what happened to X-Men after Apoc during the course of the show.

I wouldn't set your hopes that high. That, and I wouldn't be surprised if FOX would needs Marvels permission to make it a shared universe

That second episode has sold me.

Also, the girl that plays Lauren Strucker is hot. She reminds me of Hayden Panettiere from the first season of Heros. But hotter.
