His voice gets me exicted too. "I had them filed down." Sounds pretty close to Video Game Geralt.

And you know, I'm glad he has the right color eyes. (and Yennefer seems to have purple-ish)
Not the Daenaerys BS of contacts being too annoying
All in. Exactly what last few posts have been saying. Looks great!
I'm significantly more optimistic TBH. I hope it lives up to the hype that trailer brought.
Side Note: Did they get any of the game music licensed for this?
This looks distinctly not terrible.
Having not watched any of GoT, I'm going to assume it's modern-Star Wars styled "everyone is dancing with weapons instead of fighting" bs?
That aside, trailer looks solid, but it's still a Netflix adaptation so I'm still leery of it surviving two seasons even if it does end up great/faithful-enough.
They pumped a fuck ton of money into this (I read something like $95 mil for the 8 episodes of season 1), I'd hope that means they're in it for the long haul.
It was originally going to be a movie and Netflix themselves wanted it turned into a series, so assuming this doesn't suck that's also a good sign.
most of GoT had god fucking awful choreography, of which this is a wonderful sample:

this was by far the worst offender, but hardly the only one. there were some good fights too, but, a lot of shit.
Fuckin Nilfgardians...

That's not like the blooper cut? That's actual footage aired on HBO? Wow.
No way
That has to be pre-CGI or some shit

The Witcher reviews: First reactions say Netflix show's battle scenes 'make Game of Thrones' look awful'

Game of Thrones battle scenes make Game of Thrones battle scenes look awful. Glad to hear the early, albeit limited, reviews are good.
Has it been said how much of the books this season is supposed to cover?
