i'd be surprised if they could fit both books of short stories into eight episodes while also setting up the 5-book main series narrative, but yuh from the trailer scenes there are clearly at least 3 or 4 of the short stories being adapted as well as some Blood of Elves stuff.

So heads up, Entertainment Weekly has a review absolutely trashing this, but it was found out that they only watched ep 1, part of 2 then skipped to 5, so I wouldn't put much stock in it.

Starting this soon. The review I skimmed today said the choice to make multiple POV episodes (so not just the story through Geralt's eyes as was originally done) made the plot very difficult to follow. /shrug We'll see here shortly. Have at it amigos!

I know I saw some blogger I'm following post like 2 days ago that she's already watching it.

Anyway, we'll see, saw some people on FB already saying they're dropping it after 3 episodes because it's not worth it, while other seem to enjoy. Nothing new.
I'll probably try to watch it over Christmas.
