Ahhhh so good. For this to be rated to PG.... it got dark and violent as fuck. I've never seen the 80s movie though. It's all new to me

I thought I saw the original movie, but it turns out I was confusing it for Labyrinth. It has a slow start, but definitely picks up in the second half. I enjoyed it way more then.

Finished the season last night. Gotta say, it was pretty damn good, especially the later half. Dark, dark, dark...

I haven't seen the movie since I was a little kid, so I guess I'll have to go back and check it out.

watch the director's cut, with the actual made up crazy fucking languages and subtitles. it's amazing.

How many other shows has Netflix canned only after one season if it wasn't planned already as a one-and-done? Usually everything gets two at worst.
