The Pokemon Company has announced PokeLand, a new Pokemon battle game for iOS and Android where you control toy Pokemon who fight against each other. By defeating an enemy Pokemon, you can befriend it. There are various powers and new moves to learn. And there are also special Pokemon who have their own unique “nicknames.”

Renamed to Rumble Rush, Releasing this Week, The Mobile Version of Rumble World

The Pokemon Company announced on May 15 Pokemon Rumble Rush for iOS and Android. The game’s official site was opened as well. The game already launched in Australia, meaning it’ll probably launch in the next few hours in other regions. The game is titled Pokemon Scramble SP in Japan, and the Japanese official site mentions it’ll launch “in the next few days”, and that a trailer will be “coming soon” as well.

The Japanese press release also mentions how Pokemon Rumble Rush is actually Pokeland, a mobile game first announced in 2017, but that was never released.

As you battle wild Pokémon, some of them will join your team. Keep collecting more Pokémon to build up an assortment of heavy hitters. There are two kinds of gears—power gears, which boost a Pokémon's individual stats and make it more effective in battle, and summon gears, which allow a Pokémon to temporarily call another Pokémon into battle. Choose the best gears to help your Pokémon come out on top!

Pokémon Rumble Rush is a free-to-start adventure. You will also be able to purchase in-game items using real-world currency. It's available now in Australia—and will be available soon in other regions—so prepare to explore!

I've never played a Rumble game but always liked how they looked. I'll pick this one up and hope for the best.
