fwiw, I kill stuff faster with this set then any other and I don't use a single piece of Drachen in it (WTB AT Luna and AT Kulve on PC)



And it even has Health Boost!

Seriously tho, I'd kill for AT Luna waist on PC, could max out Health and Evade Window while only losing the one point of handicraft. To say nothing of the options being able to drop Free Element would bring with AT Kulve

Looking at the options in armor set search it's actually not that exciting since Kjarr Para doesn't have a gem slot. I'd probably just end up using 2 handicraft jewels or something.

Kjarr gets more hits of blue, but has lower effective raw and para. Fucking with other options like Maximum Might (which I don't like on SA) or Para Attack and it's still strictly worse across the board. So NVM on AT Kulve

Edit Again : Man comparing around with other SA and armor sets and man, Taroth Para really is fucking ridiculous. I guess I never realized exactly how good it is until just now. It might be sitting there with Wyvern Ignition as straight up BiS no questions asked.

Evade window and evade up together with crit chance and crit up has always been beastmode. I literally never changed armor again in MHG after I finished the Silverwind set.

Eh, Crit (great sword aside) wasn't that great in the older games because of how skills worked outside of World. If a weapon came with positive affinity yay, but you would never be gearing for it.

The only exception was with the Silverwind set in Generations, which was just outright ridiculous.

Guild style SA with full Silverwind? Dear lord in heaven. By far the most fun I've had in the entire series. I knew it was coming but such a shame they nerfed infinite sword mode in GU, cause that shit was bananas and the effect looked really cool.

There's a new event for an assassins creed mantle. It's essentially just a longer duration ghillie mantle, but you run faster and it's cool looking.

I'm assuming bounties are different on console, but on PC there's a weekly for 1 Behemoth that gives 5 Heavy Armor spheres.

You don't really have to play them in order, the games are entirely disconnected not counting the G/Ultimates (which are just the same game with extra content)

Yeah I'm aware of that it's just world is a very different game from the others and if I don't like 4u I definitely won't enjoy gen.

Generations is way way different beast from the rest of the series. While it may have the underlying gameplay of the older games, the styles, Hunter Arts, and Deviant Armor make for a dramatically different experience.

It was nerfed in GU, but infinite sword mode Switch Axe was some absolutely game breaking shit, and Adept style threw the entire game out of whack with how overpowering it could be.

New Years Event quest is up for 24 hours only on console.
Go do it, it's a riot.

The rewards are eh, but, reddit is saying you can get red armor spheres from it. Considering those aren't regularly farmable, might be worth doing.

Gettin' work done.
Finished AT Kulve armor set, got Divine Slasher, caught a Bristly Crake, and finished all the non-gamma armors excepting Behemoth and Commission.

Now I just need the right augmented streamstone and some Handcraft and Crit Boost decorations to finish the pre-behemoth LS build.

Besides that, I just got:
Phantom Flutterfly, Cactuar Cutting, & Flowering Cactuar to catch.
Sapphire Star's Guidance & He Taketh it With His Eyes/A Visitor From Eorzea to finish the optional quest log.
The Thronetaker event to do every event quest, and AT Elders + Gamma Armors.
50 guild cards & mini/gold crowns to finish off the cheevos.

To do before Iceborne comes out.

its funny, i have 14 crit boost gems but only 1 handicraft gem and they're the same rarity. dat rng

Pretty much the same for me but I've been melding crit boost decos for quite a while and have 0 handicraft. That and magazine jewel are the only things I have 0 of that I know of.

stamina surge (refresh), critical draw (draw), and focus (charger) are the decos i have zero of. recently got normal shot so i have all the shot ones now

I still need 2 more. Or three Attack gems, but lol.
I actually got a Weakness Exploit gem, so I can swap out the Kaiser Vambraces for something with more slots. Probably Zorah Gamma for now for +1 slot and 2 Earplug.

But this is all kinda moot should I get the Drachen set.

man, now that there's like 200 total rarity 8 kulve weapons on console they should keep her up 24/7. looks like there's nothing new for a few weeks
