Persona 5 should win GOTY, but it won’t.

Agreed on P5 out of those five. Nier was right up there with P5 for my personal GOTY, and I'm a bit disappointed it didn't make the cut.

"Popular" games will always be more likely to win that garbage than "niche" games. I've not played Persona 5 yet, but Nier: Automata was very excellent, the best game I had played since The Last of Us.

You won't be disappointed once you get around to playing P5. Easily the best game I've played since The Witcher 3, which is still the best game I've ever played but that's gonna be tough to beat.
