Good Guy Tom Wilson under DOPS review for a second suspension in a little over a week. Just returned from a 2 game suspension and goes and apparently boarded someone after traveling from one side of the ice to the other to face plant a guy into the dasher. What a nice guy.

More then okay with that deal. He'll more then likely play third line minutes and will be a great influence on the younger players

That's a lot of money for a guy who's never scored more then 30 goals or 60 points.

In all seriousness, I know he was injured last year, I know he scored 57 points in 61 games and is playing a PPG pace more or less, I know he's the face of the franchise and the whole McDavid vs Eichel and blah blah. But his career totals and results are very similar to Draisaitl's right now and $8mil per makes a lot more sense. Not to mention Buffalo is still a total shit team and his presence on it hasn't really had the same effect as someone like McDavid's has had on Edmonton.

This screams Tavares 2.0. Great player on a team that's making little progress.
