This is like Leicester winning the premier league and then deciding they want to do NFL next season and somehow it gets memed into reality.

Mayweather may let him stick around for a while, but I'm expecting a largely one-sided fight in Floyd's favor. Had this been a contest with UFC rules included, I would have said the same for McGregor.
McGregor would lose by KO to any top 10 ranking boxer, he is just going for the money, no way in hell he can win or survive more than 6-8 rounds (and adding that Mayweather isnt a KO guy).
Yup this is about as close to a 100% win for Floyd as it gets.
Connor is <1% to win.
If Mayweather plays his usual fight style he is almost 100% certain to win, imo.
The only chance McGregor has aside from sheer luck is if Mayweather suddenly changes his fighting nature and feels obligued to go all out and pursue the win by KO at all costs because of thinking its what is expected being who they are and they are playing by his rules. If he would open up this way, he could get a KO from McGregor. No reason to go this way after being on the safe side his whole career, though, just to flip the coin at the end and risk his 0 loses to Connor... but he may be bored and the mindset might not be there anymore, who knows!
What about father time?
The other thing I've heard floated is... what if Mayweather takes a dive.
Why? The rematch and the rubber match.
It turns this from a $100-200mill payday, into a billion dollars potentially.
Don't think Floyd needs 200 million bad enough to take a 1 in the loss column
I'd take an L for +$800mill.
I can't stand ESPN right now. These niggas who blatantly don't know shit about either sport are acting like McGregor has a legit chance to win.

If anything I feel sorry for the Ward/Kovalev and GGG/Canelo lol. Biggest boxing fights of the year overshadowed by a circus.

At no point in Floyd's career has a professional boxer put Floyd in a legitimate position to lose. I doubt Conor with no professional boxing experience will do any better. When this is over, I think Emanuel Burton and Castillo will have given Floyd a harder time.
I'd wager there are amateur boxers that would give McGregor all he could handle.
McGregor is a C level boxer, he would lose against a ton of fighters let alone the best.
There's at least a small number of MMA fighters who would be favored over MacGregor in a boxing match, right?
IMO McGregor's only chance to win is to land a lucky KO punch in the first or second round, if it goes three plus McGregor is gonna be gassed. I promise you Floyd knows this as well so I fully expect Floyd to completely turtle up until round five, where he'll then start doing work.
Protip: The press conferences will be a lot more entertaining than the fight.
